I don't know that my weather widget has ever really updated. 95% of the time when I manually update it doesn't work either. Not sure what's wrong with it but I don't usually use it.Computer type PC/Desktop System Manufacturer/Model Number custom built OS Windows 7 ultimate 64-bit CPU Intel I7 2600K 3.4ghz Motherboard Asus Evo P8P67 Memory Corsair 16gb ddr3 1600mhz Graphics Card Nvidia Geforce gt 430 Sound Card Sound Blaster Titanium x-fi pci express Monitor(s) Displays Dell E198WFP Keyboard logitech mk700 Mouse logitech m705 PSU Antec 1200 watt Case Inwin Dragon Rider Cooling 6 case supplied cooling fans Hard Drives 1 western digital 2TB drive.Internet Speed 25-50mbps download; 10mbps upload(i think) Antivirus avg free 2014 Browser mozilla firefox Other Info Also have a pretty bad speaker setup which is a klipsch promedia 5.1 surround speaker setup with huge subwoofer and lg blu ray player/writer.Yep; I am having the same issues with the weather gadget. It keeps giving me the "cannot connect to service" message every time i try to open the weather gadget. The problem of leaving it open is it is draining batt everytime it checks for an update and can't get thru. Mine lags behind severely in updating, and when it does, it's inaccurate.

I do not know how, but clock from my lock screen disappeared. 6further switching of widgets or adding widgets of your own choice, perform the same option and select between widgets by swiping from the edge of the screen. This carried over from my old TF with a bad screen to my new one.Originally Posted by bdoople I don't know that my weather widget has ever really updated. 95% of the time when I manually update it doesn't work either.I almost didn't try it because it looked so similar to another fix I tried, which involved copying to overwrite the original version.I'm glad to hear the "open and save" method is working for others.
